Know Your State Lottery Rules

By Harvin Gulfill

The ever big cash at stake with lottery prizes are the most sought after deals in playing the lottery. This is in fact one of the top reasons why millions of people all over the world are into the lottery gaming craze. Yes, true that the prizes, millions of dollars, are way too good to exist but definitely it's no joke and the numbers are just as real as you see and read them.

With the big bucks at stake with the least dime to spend, many people are at hope to get to the instant huge cash. However, just like any game, there are always ground rules and policies to consider and follow. Non-followers are simply non-winners, not a chance.

Every player getting a ticket should be at least 18 years of age. In the event that the player wins, the ticket should be presented at its optimum best: no tears, dirt, defect, cut or incomplete parts. Of course, no ticket no prize. Whoever presents the ticket to the claiming center, that person is considered as the player of the game. A stolen ticket is like a stolen prize as well.

It is always emphasized in the state lottery rules that players should be responsible for their own tickets. Before leaving the retailer's counter, they must make sure that they are into the right game with their betting numbers. Even if the player shot on total luck with the lucky numbers, but in the wrong game, then it never makes a difference.

Winners are always super excited to claim the prize. All winning tickets are subjected for validation as stated in the state lottery rules. All prizes are to be claimed within a year after the results has been announced. Moreover, in most states, lottery tickets and prizes are subjected to income tax.

You don't want to go home crying. Know the state lottery rules and make sure to adhere to all that has been stated in order to jive with your luck to get your hands to your millions.
